Ingredients

Cucumber peeled and sliced to thin pieces-2 cup
Green chillies -4
Shallots sliced-2
Salt - to taste
curd - 1 cup

For grinding:-
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
cumin seeds -1/4 tsp
Garlic pods - 1)
Shallots – 1
Mustard seeds – 1tsp

For seasoning:-
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Red chillies -3
Chopped shallots - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves -a few
Oil - as needed

 

 

Method:

1.Grind together coconut,green chillies,garlic,jeera,shallots and mustard seeds to a fine paste.
2.cook the cucumber ,greenchillies and shallots adding little water.when it is done add salt and ground mixture,and cook for few minutes.Switch off the stove and stir in the beaten curd.Mix well,and check for salt.
3.In another pan ,heat 2 tsp oil and pop mustard seeds.Add chopped shallots, red chillies and curry leaves and fry till brown.Pour this over the pachadi and mix well
